A near-native of Western North Carolina, Chuck prides himself on being one of the hardest-working music directors and conductors in the region. education

Chuck earned his Master of Music - Music and Worship degree specializing in conducting from Lee University (Cleveland, TN) in 2018. Prior to that, he studied Choral Conducting and Voice at Mars Hill University and received his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Western Carolina University. His masters work focused on the aging choral voice and the future of aging church choirs.

Chuck and Renee find inspiration and delight from their three children: Ceili, Lillie, and Gabriel. When not working, Chuck enjoys reading, playing soccer, and relaxing at the piano.
